Sustainability Problem and Proposed Solution: 

Compostable food waste dumped in landfills is a major contributor to methane and C02 emissions, which in turn, contributes to Global Warming, which in turn, impacts the most vulnerable human populations (i.e. poor) with increasingly severe “natural disasters”. To enact small but meaningful ways to mitigate this is to support social justice locally as well as globally.
