How to Join: 
Any UCSC student, staff or faculty member can apply for a Carbon Fund grant. The next funding round will be held next school year 2013-2012. If you are interested in participating on the committee or need help with submitting a proposal please contact us at carbonfund.ucsc@gmail.com. Members must be one of the following: 1. Member of the Student Environmental Center (student) 2. Member of Green Campus Program (student) 3. Campus Climate Action CUIP (student) 4. Undergraduate Representative of the Chancellor’s Executive Committee on Sustainability and Climate Change (student) 5. Member of Student Org (ex. CAL PRIG or PTAGS) (student) 6. Campus Energy Manager (staff) 7. Member of Sustainability Office (staff) 8. Member of Purchasing Working Group (staff) 9. Member of UCSC Faculty (ex-officio)

Project Description: 

The Fund works towards recreating UCSC as an operationally carbon neutral campus by 2020 while providing faculty with an opportunity for research and students with the tools they need to move towards a more sustainable future.
