Sustainability Problem and Proposed Solution:

Solutions to persistent problems like food insecurity tend to center on technical and managerial solutions that encompass bringing healthy, locally produced food to the mouths of those who cannot afford it. Yet, these approaches center white, male, upper class privilege, and marginalize low income people of color. DIG IN will highlight people of color, Indigenous, youth and community led efforts to combat food insecurity, food shaming, economic marginalization, ethnocentrism, and racism.
