Sustainability Problem and Proposed Solution: 

The sustainability problem addressed by a community fridge at UC involves food waste and food insecurity. Many students may struggle to afford nutritious meals, while surplus food from dining halls or events often goes to waste. Our project aims to bridge this gap by establishing a community fridge on campus where students can donate excess food and others can access free, healthy options, thereby reducing food waste and providing essential resources to those in need.
