Sustainability Problem and Proposed Solution: 

The Right Livelihood Award - known as the Alternative Nobel Prize - honors people and organizations who have found solutions to the root causes of global problems. UCSC's Right Livelihood College partners with Laureates to bring forth these solutions. However people do not know about the RLA or RLC.

Project Description: 

Our project is to raise awareness of the RLA and RLC and build collaborations.

Metrics for Success: 

Our event reached 4000 people over three days, and raised awareness of UCSC sustainability efforts.

The project built relationships with the Right Livelihood Award Foundation, Democracy Now!, Food & Water Watch, 350.org, Green Cross International, Albert Einstein Institution, and many more justice and sustainability oriented groups.
